About the WAPT

Since 1994, the K&G Sports LLC has operated the APT (All Pro Tour) and successfully graduated hundreds of players to the PGA Tours including PGA winners Bubba Watson, Ryan Palmer, Austin Cook, Brice Garnett and Andrew Landry (pictured) The APT is now the #1 choice for players on their way to the PGA Tour.

While the APT focuses on men’s golf, the WAPT (Womens All Pro Tour) will provide growth and playing opportunities for women golfers. The 2019 WAPT will feature 54 and 72-hole championships in states such as Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

“We are hosting a few limited field women’s events at three of our APT events”, says Tour President, Gary DeSerrano. “We will be launching the WAPT (Womens All Pro Tour) in 2019 and this is a great way to introduce our operation to the ladies. The plan is to have a Tour for the women very similar to our current APT. The new women’s tour will be a separate entity from the APT, however, a few of our 36 hole facilities in 2019 will host both the men and the ladies that same week. We are very excited about it and are hoping the ladies will be as well.”

At the 2018 events held at the APT tournaments, the women will play from their own tees, be paired together and play for their own prize money.

FAQ from the Ladies;
  1. What happens if I register, then get into a Symetra or LPGA event?
    • Answer: You will get a full refund just like we do with the men!
  2. What do I get with my entry into the event?
    • Answer: The very same benefits as the men; Free Practice Rounds, Free Lunches, Free Callaway Chrome Soft Range Balls and a great tournament atmosphere!
  3. How will the course be set-up?
    • Answer: We will be playing the same course as the men, BUT the Ladies tees will be set to Symetra / LPGA yardage standards
  4. Will I be paired with the guy?
    • Answer: No, we will pair the ladies together, within the men’s groups.
  5. Do we get a cart in the tournament?
    • Answer: No. All of our events are walking. So bring your carry bag. If you bring a caddy, they will be provided an APT caddy bib.
  6. Why are the fields limited?
    • Answer: These events are simply to provide the ladies that attend a sample of how we operate events and a taste of what is to come in 2019. And since we are playing during the APT men’s event, we cannot extend the ladies spots beyond 24 for 2018.

Women interested in knowing more are encouraged to call the APT offices at 817-567-3654.

Details for the 2019 Women’s Tour will be announced later this year… Stay Tuned!
