If I am a member of the Web, Canadian Tour, PGALA or Euro Challenge Tour, do I get a discount on my Membership?

Yes. Conditional members of the Web.com Tour and FULL members of the Canadian, PGALA and Euro Challenge Tour may join the APT for $650 per year. If you have already joined as a full APT member and your qualify at a later date, we will refund you the difference.

Who is eligible to play in an Adams Pro Tour event?

All professionals and amateurs with a USGA handicap of 5.0 or less may play on a space available basis.

Where do I get my member packet?

All members will receive their member packets at their first event played.

When are tee times posted?

The 1st & 2nd round tee times will be posted 36 hours prior to the start of each event.  Pairings will be posted in the golf shop, by the Tour trailer and online at www.apt.golf; at each tournament’s information page.

Do I have to pay for a practice round and range balls?

Practice rounds are FREE to all players that want to walk.  A fee will apply to those players that want to rent a golf cart – fee usually around $15-25. Range balls a free all week.

Are yardage books available at each site?

Yes. A limited number of books are available each week. They are sold in the APT trailer on Monday and Tuesday. Books are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.

How many players make the CUT?

For the 2017 regular season, the top 35% of the starting field and ties after 36 holes will make the CUT with a maximum of 50 and ties.

How will I receive my earnings from a tournament?

Final checks at each event will be mailed 7 days after the final round.  Checks will be mailed to your address on file.  If you move during the year, it is YOUR responsibility to contact the Tour office to update your address information. Any lost checks due to an incorrect address is subject to a fee.

How do I withdraw from a tournament?

Withdraws will be accepted for any reason when notice is given by 5:00 PM on the Friday before the tournament week.  Players can transfer their entry fee to a future tournament at no additional cost, or get a refund back to their credit card.  There will be a $50 administrative fee for all refunds back to credit card.  Players MUST call the tour office at 817-567-3654 to withdraw.

For withdraws after this Friday deadline, the player will forfeit his entry fee to this tournament.  Medical and personal withdraws after this Friday deadline will be evaluated case-by-case, and if accepted, there will be a $100 administrative fee.

No refund or credit will be offered once a player has teed off during tournament play.  No Shows will NOT receive a refund or credit.

If I qualify or gain entry into a PGA / Web.com Tour event will my entry fee be refunded?

Yes.  Please contact our office at 817-567-3654 by 12:00 PM on Tuesday to notify of your qualification.  There is no fee to transfer the entry to another event, but if you request a refund, there is a $50 cancellation fee.

Am I allowed to wear shorts while playing in an event?

Proper golf attire is required. Slacks are preferred during tournament play, but shorts are allowed. Slacks are required during pro-ams. Shirts are to be tucked in and hats worn forward. No jeans!

Are range finders allowed during tournament play?

The use of distance-measuring devices will be permitted in all APT events.  The devices with slope, must be able to turn off this feature to be eligible.

Are golf carts allowed?

No.  Unless otherwise stated, all APT events will be walking.  Carts will be allowed during practice rounds.

Will I have to provide my own caddy?

No, you are allowed to carry your own bag.  Some golf courses will have local caddies available. All caddies must wear Caddy Bibs during tournament play.

Are pull / push carts allowed?

Yes. However, caddies are not allowed to use push carts.

Will private housing be available?

Private housing will be available at some events, but is not guaranteed.  Private housing will only be available to tour members.  Information regarding private housing can be found on each tournament’s info page.

Is there a host hotel provided at each event?

Yes, there will be a host hotel for each event that will provide a discounted rate to tournament players.  Information regarding the host hotel can be found on each tournament’s info page.

Are there any member benefits regarding equipment and apparel?
