2016-17 Adams Winter Series Membership Information

Winter Series Details

The Adams Pro Tour – Winter Series will conduct 12 professional golf tournaments beginning in October 2016 and ending in January 2017. ALL tournaments will be located in the Houston area. Most major holidays, PGA Qualifiers and heavy travel periods have been avoided. The Series is a great way to keep your game in shape during the winter months and the weather in the Houston area is generally mild.

Winter Series – Membership Fee

Winter Series memberships will be $425 for renewals and $525 for new members. Renewals are players that were either a member of the 2016 Adams Pro Tour regular season or the 2015-16 Winter Series. Renewal memberships are $425 until October 10 (1 week before first tournament). After this date, all membership fees are $525 and are non-refundable after October 17th.

Winter Series – Tournament Entry Fees

Member – $575 (+$50 after early deadline)

Non-Member – $725 (+$50 after early deadline)

Amateur – $350 (+$50 after early deadline)

NOTE: The early entry deadline is one (1) week before the first round at each tournament. For example, the early deadline at the first winter tournament scheduled October 17-18 will be Monday, October 10th. After this date, all entries will increase $50 for that tournament.

Winter Series Highlights

12 36-hole tournaments (October 2016 – January 2017)
ALL courses in the Houston area
Tournament days Mon-Tues or Thurs-Fri (with NO cuts to the field)
Top 30% of starting field and ties will recieve a check (Note Amateurs do not recieve any prizes)
Each tournament purse will be 80% of member level entry fees; plus 80% of amateur entry fees
First place will be a guaranteed minimum of $4,000
Fields limited to 78 players
Slacks required during ALL tournament rounds
Top 3 (3) members on WS Money List will receive FREE membership for 2017 regular season on Adams Pro Tour. To be eligible, players MUST compete in 8 of the 12 WS tournaments.
Top member on WS Money List will receive exemption into 2017 Texas State Open
