Victoria, TX – The third stop on the All Pro Tour (APT) takes us to Victoria, Texas for the Mac Haik and Lincoln Victoria Open from April 7-10.  The Victoria Open is the longest-running event of the APT. This year will be the 26th year of the event at Victoria Country Club.

A total of 149 players will be competing in the Mac Haik and Lincoln Victoria Open. The Victoria Open will consist of 72-holes of stroke play and the cut will be made after 36 holes with the top 35% making it to the final two rounds. With an estimated purse of $120,000 the winner will be taking home a minimum of $20,000.

Defending champion Brendon Jelley (Tulsa, OK) will be among the field defending his title. “I’m very excited to be heading back to Victoria,” says Jelley. “The course suits my game very well. It is not a course you are going to make a tone of birdies on, so you have to stick with your gameplan.”

Also in the field is Jorge Fernandez-Valdes (Argentina) who has had a great start to his 2021 season. Valdes finished his first event on the APT with a top 6 finish followed by making the cut at the Paragon Casino Championship. This led into a top 3 finish at the Mexico Open on the PGA Tour Latin America posting back to back 64’s. Fernandez-Valdes will look to keep up his good form heading into the Victoria Open next week.

Two time champion Brian Rowell (Broussard, LA) is in the field for 2021, “It is always nice to play a course you feel comfortable on. It is a crazy course though. It can get very windy and there will be some crazy bounces. Just need to have good distance control and no three putts to compete.’’

A schedule of events can be found here. Tournament play will begin at 7:45am all four days with players going off both holes 1 and 10.  Attendance is welcome to the public.
