First Glance: 2023 Links Showdown

(Alexandria, LA) – The All Pro Tour will be in Alexandria, Louisiana for the Links Showdown, as part of the 2023 fall series. This is the 3rd year the Links on the Bayou will be hosting the APT.

Monday, October 30th:

Practice Rounds- (8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.)  

Tuesday, October 31st:

Round 1, single- tee start off hole #1 - (10:45 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.)

Wednesday, November 1st:

Round 2, single-tee start off hole #1 (10:45 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.) 

Thursday, November 2nd: 

Final Round, single-tee start off hole #1- (8:30 a.m. start)

Awards ceremony- (after final round) 

NOTES ON THE LIST OF COMPETITORS:

This week’s APT field is made up of 40 players from 4 countries. 

The breakdown of the players per country in the field this week: United States (36), Argentina (2),  Finland (1), Germany (1). 

Action gets underway at 10:45 A.M. CT for the first two days of play and 8:30 A.M. CT for the final round. A cut will be made after 36-holes to the top 30% of the starting field, including ties. Amateurs are included in the cut number. The field will be repaired before the final round based on score and players will go off in reverse horseshoe with leaders of the APT teeing off last. A trophy presentation by the clubhouse will follow the final round of play. Attendance is free to the public.
