Wade Binfield Clinches Victory as United Way Classic Concludes

(Fort Smith, AR) - As the United Way Classic draws to a close, players and fans alike were treated to a perfect day for the final round, with sunny skies and a gentle breeze gracing the Hardscrabble Country Club. The final round began with Rob Hudson holding the lead, but it was Wade Binfield who stole the show with a spectacular performance. Starting the day tied for 5th place, Binfield wasted no time making his move, birdieing the first three holes to catapult himself into contention. A remarkable hole-out on the 10th further solidified his lead, and he never looked back, ultimately carding a 4-under par round to finish at an impressive 9-under par for the tournament.

This victory holds special significance for Binfield, as it marks his debut on the All Pro Tour, having previously competed on the Korn Ferry Tour. His exceptional play and nerves of steel throughout the final round showcased his talent and determination, earning him a well-deserved spot in the winner's circle.

The United Way Classic has been a memorable week at Hardscrabble Country Club, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the United Way of Fort Smith Area for their support in making the event a success. Special recognition is also due to Joey Shipp, the superintendent, whose meticulous care ensured the course was in pristine condition all week.
