Due to the continuation of Round 1 this morning, today's round began at 9:15 a.m. However, the wait was worth it as the weather was perfect, providing ideal conditions for the players to showcase their skills.

Chad Sewell from Conroe, TX, emerged as the new solo leader, sitting at an impressive 10-under par total. Sewell delivered the standout performance of the day, firing a remarkable 6-under par in a bogey-free round. His exceptional play not only propelled him to the top of the leaderboard but also earned him the scorecard of the day.

Hot on Sewell's heels is Wesley Hunter from Birmingham, Alabama, who finished the day at 9-under par total. Hunter's consistent play keeps him within striking distance, setting the stage for a thrilling competition as the tournament progresses.
