(Dallas, TX) – The All Pro Tour concluded its regular season last week and recognized three APT members for their achievements on the Access Golf Player of the Year Program.

The APT introduced the Access Golf Player of the Year Program, a season-long points race this year. The race started at the first regular season event and concluded at the Eagle Ops Championship in Broken Arrow, OK. Through the partnership, the top three (3) members on the points list earned the following bonuses:

  1. $10,000 bonus

  2. $3,000 bonus

  3. $2,000 bonus

“Access Golf is delighted to help support the next generation of PGA Tour-bound players by sponsoring the Player of the Year Award,” said Ken Hollingworth, founder of Access Golf. “As a golf travel destination company, we feel it's important to give back and help those golfers chase their dreams of playing the PGA Tour.”

After playing in just six APT events for the 2024 season, Zach James took the number one spot earning 1,122 points. The Whitesboro, TX native found himself with four top 10 finishes, including a win at the Firewheel Classic in Garland, TX.

“There's a ton of good players that play each week and a couple of good names that have led the APT points list in prior years. Being able to lead it for the 2024 year and add mine to that list means a lot to me,” said James. “The $10,000 bonus really makes a difference because it will pay for all of Q-School this year along with traveling expenses and will help me continue my dream of playing golf for a living.”
